Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain as his entrance music. Paul Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby Blimm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 19 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Williams! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blimm takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Blimm looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Blimm takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Blimm. Blimm gets slowly back to his feet. Blimm is looking to clinch. Williams moves into range and connects with a jab. Blimm will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Blimm fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams connects with a body shot. Williams checks a low kick from Blimm. Williams cracks the inside of Blimm's front leg. Williams tries to land a leg kick but Blimm saw it coming and moves away.
Williams connects with a single shot there. Blimm fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Blimm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blimm is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blimm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Paul Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blimm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Williams - the referee stops the clock and Blimm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Williams. Blimm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Williams lands the left hand. Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.
Blimm misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circle momentarily. Williams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Williams throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Williams misses with an uppercut. Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Williams. Blimm shrugs it off though. Blimm drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jab by Williams. Blimm shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Williams is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blimm had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Williams blocks the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blimm has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Williams finds it's way round the side to connect with Blimm's head. Williams has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Blimm is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blimm looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Blimm checks it well. Williams tried to score with a low kick but Blimm checks it. Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Williams lands the left hand. That kick from Williams tenderised Blimm's leg. Blimm is trying to keep his angry face on. Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Blimm throws a leg kick and Williams counters with a thumping low kick. Blimm tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Williams lands a body shot.
Blimm darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Williams throws a shot from downtown. Blimm moves away and avoids it. Blimm closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blimm lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Blimm with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blimm throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely. Blimm trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blimm pushes down on Williams's leg and manages to get into half guard. Blimm seems to be working for a kimura but Williams defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blimm wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Williams tries to kick Blimm off but Blimm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Williams has one foot on Blimm's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blimm closes the distance and clinches. Blimm misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Williams.
Blimm breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Williams tries to land a front kick but Blimm steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Blimm, before circling back to the center of the mat. Blimm looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Blimm shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Blimm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams. Williams thows a body shot but no joy. Blimm tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance. Blimm wants to clinch. Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blimm. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Blimm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams lands with an uppercut that bounces Blimm off the cage and back into range. Blimm rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Williams throws a punch but it's blocked by Blimm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Blimm. Blimm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blimm off to one side. Williams takes a swing at Blimm's ribcage but misses. Blimm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes. Williams darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Williams cracks Blimm with an open hand slap. Blimm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Blimm is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Blimm shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Williams connects with a right hand. Blimm shakes it off. Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Blimm scores with a jab. Williams jabs Blimm to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams digs a good body shot into Blimm's ribs. Blimm takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Blimm tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williams moves into range and connects with a jab. Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Blimm moves out of range easily. Williams misses with a wild body shot. A solid leg kick lands there for Williams.
Williams plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Blimm throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease. Paul Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup. Williams lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Blimm takes a body punch but keeps moving. Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
Blimm is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Williams listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Blimm fails in his attempt to clinch. Williams lands a jab to Blimm's midsection. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blimm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Blimm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Williams avoids it. Blimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Blimm has time to react. Bobby Blimm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams scores with a head kick. Blimm tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Williams misses with a body shot.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Blimm. Blimm gets slowly back to his feet. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blimm throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blimm throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Blimm is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Blimm falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab. Williams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blimm looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Blimm looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Williams misses with a wild body shot. Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Blimm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams counters with a low kick, right behind Blimm 's knee. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Blimm looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Blimm fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Blimm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Williams lands a head kick!

Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams cracks Blimm with an open hand slap. Blimm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one. Blimm takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Williams thuds his right hand into Blimm's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Blimm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard. Blimm trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blimm is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Blimm is retaining full guard. Williams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Blimm wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Blimm lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Williams! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blimm looking to finish Williams with some ground and pound. This is bad for Williams! Blimm unloads with some shots from mount but Williams bucks and avoids them well.
Blimm fails to move to back control. Blimm wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely. Williams regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blimm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blimm. Williams won't allow Blimm to pass to mount. Blimm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Blimm eventually gives up the hold. Bobby Blimm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blimm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Blimm eventually gives up the hold. Williams is looking to control Blimm's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Blimm. I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
