The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henriques misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Weidman forces Henriques back against the cage and clinches.
Weidman landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Henriques wants a takedown.
Henriques is fighting off a takedown attempt but Weidman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Henriques to the mat. Henriques regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
