Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Auto Pilot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Rodalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodalgo has chosen Ace of Spades - By Motorhead as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Auto Pilot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Michel Rodalgo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodalgo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pilot's hands.
Pilot ducks right into an uppercut from Rodalgo.
Pilot is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rodalgo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rodalgo misses with a leg kick
and Pilot counters with a nice leg kick.
Pilot moves out of range of the body kick.
Rodalgo slips a straight right by Pilot.
Rodalgo lands with a cross.
Rodalgo jabs Pilot right on the nose. Pilot blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice leg kick lands there from Pilot.
Rodalgo throws a sloppy body shot

and Pilot counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pilot.
Pilot tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rodalgo's elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Rodalgo.

Pilot gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Pilot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rodalgo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pilot throws a shot from downtown. Rodalgo moves away and avoids it.
Rodalgo throws out a leg kick but Pilot moves out of range and Rodalgo only half commits.
Auto Pilot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pilot has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pilot gets through Rodalgo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Rodalgo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pilot throws a head punch that misses.
Rodalgo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Pilot lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Pilot softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Pilot's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rodalgo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pilot just leaning against Rodalgo, taking a breather.

Pilot does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A bone on bone clash there as Pilot blocks the leg kick.
Rodalgo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pilot lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rodalgo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rodalgo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pilot lands a head shot.
Pilot connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pilot misses the jab.
Rodalgo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rodalgo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pilot misses with a head kick.
Pilot missing with a left hand there. Rodalgo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pilot looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Pilot on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rodalgo misses with a low kick.
Good leg kick by Pilot there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pilot scores with a nice right hand.
Pilot thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rodalgo if he has to take too many more of those.

Pilot lands a jab to the nose.
Pilot misses the jab.

Pilot slips a jab from Rodalgo.
Rodalgo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rodalgo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rodalgo cracks Pilot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Pilot clinches.
Pilot throws a head punch that misses.
Pilot wants to get back to striking at distance but Rodalgo won't allow it.
Rodalgo can't find room to land a body shot as Pilot controls the action.
Pilot is pressed up against the cage. Rodalgo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pilot down to the mat. Pilot avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pilot scores with a nice body kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rodalgo lands a nice looking body kick.
Rodalgo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pilot had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pilot tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodalgo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pilot with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rodalgo to score with a decent uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Auto Pilot will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rodalgo throws a right and a left that Pilot avoids nicely.
Rodalgo just misses with a punch to the body.
Pilot throws the kick towards the body but Rodalgo avoids it.
The crowd cheers as Rodalgo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pilot doesn't seem phased though.
Rodalgo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pilot tries to land a front kick but Rodalgo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rodalgo swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Rodalgo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pilot has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rodalgo finds it's way round the side to connect with Pilot's head.

Rodalgo looks for a takedown but Pilot sprawls well.
Pilot thows a body kick. Rodalgo tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pilot looks to land a body kick but Rodalgo moved away.

Pilot walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rodalgo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Pilot throws a hook but Rodalgo avoids it easily.
Pilot throws a wild body kick that Rodalgo sees coming a mile off.
Rodalgo dives in for a single leg takedown but Pilot sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Pilot is trying to pull guard but Rodalgo has him pressed against the cage.

Rodalgo misses with a punch on the inside.

Rodalgo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A low kick from Pilot misses

and Rodalgo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pilot's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rodalgo throws an elbow but Pilot slips to the side and avoids it well.

Rodalgo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Michel Rodalgo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Pilot connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rodalgo. Rodalgo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Auto Pilot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Michel Rodalgo.
I think Rodalgo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
