Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendemmiati stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vendemmiati wants it to stay on the feet.
Vendemmiati throws a right hand that Xumusu ducks under and follows up with a left that Xumusu also avoids with ease.
Xumusu gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Vendemmiati bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Xumusu's head.

Vendemmiati is desperately trying to improve his position but Xumusu has a good base and remains in mount.

Xumusu lands a big shot there that rocks Vendemmiati but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Xumusu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Xumusu stalks Vendemmiati and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vendemmiati's face. Vendemmiati staggers backwards, shaken.

Daniele Vendemmiati seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
