Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prusel Gammarix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Shackleford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gammarix kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Punttisali. Rusty Shackleford has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Prusel Gammarix's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Prusel Gammarix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rusty Shackleford! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gammarix clinches up against the cage. Gammarix pulls Shackleford into guard.
Shackleford drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gammarix looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gammarix looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gammarix! Gammarix is looking to take a break and control but Shackleford is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shackleford tries to bench press Gammarix off him but Gammarix keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shackleford bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Gammarix closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gammarix lands in his opponent's guard. Shackleford is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Shackleford wants to sweep here but Gammarix controlling him for the moment. Gammarix sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shackleford is looking for a triangle but Gammarix pushes his legs off easily.
Gammarix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gammarix throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shackleford works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gammarix trying to control but Shackleford is working from the bottom. Gammarix pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shackleford is keeping the position for now. Shackleford looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gammarix passes into side control.
Shackleford looks gassed! Shackleford is looking for a sweep. Gammarix trying to control the position but Shackleford is working away. Gammarix working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Shackleford stops Gammarix from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gammarix shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gammarix showed some decent athleticism there. Shackleford has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Gammarix escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Gammarix! Gammarix tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gammarix has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gammarix controlling the position from side mount. Shackleford manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shackleford looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Gammarix tries to roll over but Shackleford keeps him under control. Gammarix gets back to full guard.
Gammarix not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gammarix is on top in guard.
Shackleford wants to stand but Gammarix is controlling the position. Shackleford is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gammarix is working Shackleford over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Shackleford has his feet on Gammarix's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Shackleford fails with the takedown and Gammarix counters with a three punch combo that has Shackleford backing up. Shackleford nods at Gammarix to acknowledge the strikes. Shackleford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gammarix shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shackleford's guard.
Shackleford is rocked! Shackleford should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gammarix passes easily into side control. Nice work. Shackleford is still in real trouble! Can Gammarix finish him? Gammarix lands a strong strike to the head of Shackleford. That's dazed him! Gammarix looking to finish here. Shackleford is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Gammarix lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
