34 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Valentine! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Valentine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logic.
Valentine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Logic moves away. Logic throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Valentine counters with a single leg into guard. Logic didn't expect that. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Valentine wants to control from the top but Logic keeps moving. Valentine prevents Logic from getting back to his feet. Valentine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Logic trying to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Valentine with a nice head shot there. Valentine postures up and lands a big shot to Logic's brow. Valentine wants to control from the top but Logic keeps moving. Logic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valentine on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valentine stays in close to Logic's body and controls the position. Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Logic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valentine slips nicely into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Logic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Valentine is working away from the top position though. Logic wants to get back to his feet.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Valentine working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Logic won't allow Valentine to pass to mount. Logic is staying active underneath Valentine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Logic wants to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Valentine moves out of range as Logic throws a body kick.
Logic lands a leg kick that knocks Valentine off balance momentarily. Logic lands with a shot to the body. Valentine on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Logic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Logic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Valentine in his tracks. Valentine wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Logic blocks a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Logic throws out a powerful jab. Valentine on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Valentine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Logic manages to avoid it. Logic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Logic throws a head kick that misses so Valentine counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Valentine trying to control but Logic is working from the bottom. Logic tries to land a sweep but no joy. Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Logic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Logic wants to hit a switch here but Valentine passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Logic there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valentine has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Logic's face.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Valentine lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Valentine avoids the attempt from Logic to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Valentine dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Valentine throws a jab but it's blocked by Logic. Logic wants to slow Valentine down by chopping away at his legs. Logic moves out of range as Valentine throws a body kick.
Logic throws a body punch but Valentine moves out of range. Valentine takes a swing at Logic's ribcage but misses. Valentine misses with a shot to the body and Logic counters with a nice body shot. Valentine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Valentine throws a jab but it's blocked by Logic. Logic throws a leg kick and Valentine counters with a shoot takedown. Logic fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Valentine in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Valentine throwing strikes but missing. Logic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Valentine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Logic is keeping the position for now. Valentine is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Valentine loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Valentine pushes down on Logic's leg and manages to get into half guard. Logic is trying to stand up here but Valentine is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Logic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Valentine wants to control from the top but Logic keeps moving. Logic looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Valentine trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Logic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valentine passes Logic's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Logic is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at GTi 888, so we'll see if he gets out of it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Valentine uses his free foot to push down on Logic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Logic. Valentine controlling the pace for now. Valentine trying to control but Logic is having none of it. Valentine cracks Logic with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Logic is in a horrible position here. Valentine smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Valentine goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Logic turns into him and now he's in Valentine's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Valentine is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Logic is aware though and is defending well. Logic trying to control the position from guard on top but Valentine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Valentine looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Logic puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Logic trying to control the action but Valentine is working from the bottom. Valentine tries to get to full guard but Logic has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Valentine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valentine is looking to take a break and control but Logic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Alexander Valentine has got the better of the ground game so far. Valentine takes a little break here. Logic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Valentine scores with punches from side control. Valentine lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Valentine are missing the target in this wave of attacks. You can see the frustration on Logic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Valentine looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Logic is avoiding damage well.
Logic is trying to improve his position. Valentine trying to control the action but Logic is working from the bottom. Valentine controlling the position from side mount. Lex Logic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Logic is not content to let Valentine control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Valentine tries for a kimura but Logic is defending well. Logic tries to bench press Valentine off him but Valentine keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Logic tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Valentine presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Valentine working away from the top, dropping strikes. Valentine wants to control the pace but Logic is squirming around nicely. Valentine scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Logic?
Logic is desperately trying to improve his position but Valentine has a good base and remains in mount. The referee warns Logic that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Valentine lands a big elbow. Alexander Valentine is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Logic is in all sorts of trouble here.
