Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Jakovlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakovlev comes to the cage accompanied by Devour. Kalashnikov has chosen Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vadim Kalashnikov! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalashnikov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nice body kick from Kalashnikov. Jakovlev misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vadim Kalashnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kalashnikov lands the left hand.
It looks like Petr Jakovlev has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kalashnikov throws a lazy right hand but Jakovlev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kalashnikov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kalashnikov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kalashnikov gets caught napping as Jakovlev dives in and scores a takedown. Kalashnikov manages to retain guard. Jakovlev drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kalashnikov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kalashnikov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kalashnikov! Kalashnikov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Kalashnikov decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jakovlev works the jab nicely. Jakovlev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalashnikov stuffs the takedown. Kalashnikov misses with a jab, cross combination.
A swing and a miss from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov misses with a hook. Jakovlev on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jakovlev misses with a takedown attempt - Kalashnikov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jakovlev shoots in for a double leg but Kalashnikov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Jakovlev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jakovlev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kalashnikov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kalashnikov lands a big right hand that sends Jakovlev crashing to the mat! Kalashnikov stays standing though and waves Jakovlev back to his feet!
Jakovlev is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalashnikov throws a quick head kick that knocks Jakovlev silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Kalashnikov is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
