Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerry Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chandler has chosen Silverchair - Tomorrow as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gerry Chandler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Clayton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gerry Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Clayton blocks the low kick.
Clayton throws out a leg kick but Chandler moves out of range and Clayton only half commits.
Clayton swings for the body but Chandler moves out of range.
Chandler with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Clayton throws a hook to the side of Chandler's head but Chandler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Chandler makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Clayton really felt that one!

Vincent Clayton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clayton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Chandler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chandler thumps Clayton with a low kick.
Clayton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chandler circles away quickly and effectively.
Chandler slips a jab and a cross from Clayton.
A combination from Clayton does no damage.
Clayton throws a nice looking combination but Chandler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clayton looks to land a combination but Chandler avoids it well.
Chandler blocks a low kick nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Chandler. That's going to slow Clayton down.
Clayton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Clayton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chandler manages to avoid it.
Chandler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clayton.
Chandler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clayton.
No joy there for Clayton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clayton misses with a double jab
and Chandler makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Clayton really felt that one!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Chandler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Chandler lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clayton will feel that in the morning.

Clayton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Clayton throws a hook but Chandler avoids it easily.
Chandler moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Clayton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chandler.
Clayton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chandler's hands.
Chandler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chandler lands with a thumping leg kick.
Clayton misses with a wild combination.
Chandler avoids the body shot from Clayton.
Clayton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chandler circles away quickly and effectively.
Clayton tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chandler is able to avoid easily.

Clayton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chandler.
Clayton throws a right and a left that Chandler avoids nicely.
Clayton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chandler. Chandler obviously looking to wear him down.
Clayton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

That kick from Chandler tenderised Clayton's leg. Clayton is trying to keep his angry face on.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Clayton throws a jab but it's blocked by Chandler.

and Chandler counters with a thumping low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gerry Chandler will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Clayton throws a low kick but Chandler moves out of range easily.
Clayton is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Chandler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chandler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chandler is looking to take a break and control but Clayton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chandler in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chandler passes to full mount!
Clayton is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Chandler looking to finish Clayton with some ground and pound. This is bad for Clayton!
Chandler trying to control but Clayton is having none of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chandler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Clayton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clayton tries to get out of the position.
Chandler lands a couple of good shots and Clayton has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Chandler sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Clayton taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gerry Chandler!
After the fight, Gerry Chandler was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
