Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tappin Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mark ferrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mark ferrell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from ferrell.
ferrell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Out's waist but Out gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ferrell off to one side.
ferrell looks gassed!
ferrell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Out but Out pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tappin Out has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mark ferrell.
ferrell tries to close the distance and clinch but Out swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Out bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Out moves into full mount!
Out lands a nice shot to the head.
Out unloads with some shots from mount but ferrell bucks and avoids them well.
ferrell tries to hold on but Out postures up.

Out closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
ferrell is not content to let Out control the position.
ferrell wants to get back to his feet.
The referee asks Out politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Out prefers to stall for the moment though.

Out is looking to take a break and control but ferrell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ferrell forces his way into half guard.
Out works his way to full guard. Good work.

Out had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. ferrell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Out Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take ferrell's back instead.
Out throwing wild punches that miss their target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Out tries to clinch but ferrell is having none of it.

Tappin Out overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Out tries to free his leg and advance position but ferrell is retaining full guard.

Out sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed ferrell's guard.

Out is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ferrell is just riding it out for now. Out eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

ferrell wants to control but Out is keeping busy and won't allow it.
ferrell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Out passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for ferrell!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ferrell wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Out prevents ferrell from getting the reversal.
ferrell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
ferrell is trying desperately to improve position.

Out throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! ferrell has his hands clasped together but Out breaks the hold and ferrell is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Out!
