Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Gatsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Baraccho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oscar Baraccho! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatsby darts in trying to clinch and Baraccho counters with a single leg into guard. Gatsby didn't expect that. Baraccho looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gatsby is trying to keep Baraccho in close.

Gatsby lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Baraccho! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baraccho is squirming around, avoiding Gatsby's attempts to control the action. Gatsby controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close round but I would say that Jay Gatsby will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
