The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barral dives in for a single leg takedown but Tomkins sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Barral tries for a takedown but Tomkins manages to get underhooks.
Barral has Tomkins pressed against the cage, preventing Tomkins from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tomkins just misses with a elbow thrown towards Barral's brow.

Tomkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barral gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tomkins counters with a series of strikes. Barral will be more careful next time no doubt.
Taylor Tomkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Luis Barral.
Tomkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Tomkins counters with a straight right hand.
Tomkins lands a jab to the head.
Barral takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barral steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tomkins. That one must have hurt.
Barral takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Andre Luis Barral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barral has his takedown stuffed
and Tomkins counters with a nice uppercut.
Barral looks winded!

Tomkins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Barral shoots for a takedown but Tomkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A jab from Tomkins does it's job there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barral crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tomkins - the referee stops the clock and Barral gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tomkins. Barral manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Tomkins tests Barral's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
