Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Partio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Birchmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Partio's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nightwish - Crimson Tide. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partio connects with a leg kick. Birchmont looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Partio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Partio scores with a nice right hand.
Birchmont takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Birchmont has managed to clinch.
Partio is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Birchmont is trying to pull guard but Partio has him pressed against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Birchmont.
Birchmont gets control of Partio's arms and successfully pulls guard. Birchmont will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Birchmont wants to sweep here but Partio controlling him for the moment.

Partio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Birchmont has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Partio has managed to get both his arms back between Birchmont's legs - danger averted.

Partio is really struggling to control Birchmont but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Partio lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Partio is pushing down on Birchmont's leg trying to pass to half guard. Birchmont is fighting to maintain full guard but Partio has managed to sneak the leg through.

Partio is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Birchmont is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

In his post fight interview, Kauko Partio started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
