Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jakob Kellerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Springer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kellerman comes to the cage accompanied by When Darkness Falls. Jerry Springer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jakob Kellerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Jerry Springer! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Springer shoots in for a double leg but Kellerman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kellerman feints and as Springer raises his hands in defense, Kellerman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Springer keeping moving, preventing Kellerman from controlling successfully. Springer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kellerman trying to control the position from guard on top but Springer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Springer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Springer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kellerman is one step ahead there. Kellerman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Springer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Springer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Springer seems keen to control Kellerman's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kellerman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kellerman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Springer's guard. Kellerman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Springer keeping moving, preventing Kellerman from controlling successfully. Kellerman looking to pass the guard. Kellerman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Springer trying to keep a closed guard but Kellerman is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jakob Kellerman just wasn't active enough. Springer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kellerman. Kellerman stuffs the takedown attempt from Springer. Springer gets slowly back to his feet. Springer looks to score with a jab to the body but Kellerman is just out of range. Springer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Springer tries to stand and escape but Kellerman is controlling the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Springer prevents Kellerman from improving his position. Kellerman trying to control from the bottom.
Kellerman is looking for a sweep. Springer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kellerman moves into full guard.
Springer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kellerman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Springer wants to stand but Kellerman is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Springer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kellerman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Springer wants to control from the top but Kellerman keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jerry Springer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kellerman gets a double leg takedown into Springer's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kellerman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Springer keeping moving, preventing Kellerman from controlling successfully. Springer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kellerman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kellerman looking to sit in guard and control but Springer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kellerman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Springer! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kellerman controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jakob Kellerman dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Springer is looking to clinch but Kellerman is avoiding it.
Springer tries for a takedown but Kellerman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kellerman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Springer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Springer dodges the punch combination from Kellerman.
Springer shoots and misses and Kellerman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Springer won't be happy with that. Kellerman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Springer is trying to improve his position. Springer prevents Kellerman from improving position. Springer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Springer struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kellerman has hold of Springer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Springer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kellerman cranks the arm and Springer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Springer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jakob Kellerman! Jakob Kellerman decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
