Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Bjj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Bjj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maka shoots in looking for a takedown but Bjj manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bjj throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maka ducks under a wild hook from Bjj. Maka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bjj misses the shot to the body. Maka pushes Bjj up against the cage in a clinch. Maka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maka shoots in looking for a takedown. Bjj tries to sprawl out of it but Maka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bjj manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bjj rushes Maka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bjj tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Maka smiles and moves away.
Maka misses with an uppercut. Bjj saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bjj looks to land a right hand but Maka moved out of range. Bjj falls off balance throwing a combination
and Maka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bjj's guard. Maka wants to get up but he can't break Bjj's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Maka wants to control from the top but Bjj keeps moving. Bjj working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Maka. Maka postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bjj controls Maka momentarily but Maka frees himself.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bjj misses with a looping left. Bjj closes the distance and clinches. Maka tries to break free but Bjj pushes him back against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Maka is trying to force a seperation but Bjj has the dominant position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bjj lands a shoulder strike. Maka misses with a hook to the ribs.
Maka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Maka is pressed up against the cage. Bjj has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maka down to the mat. Maka avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Maka blocks a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maka on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Maka lands with an overhand left. Maka moves out of range as Bjj strikes. Maka checks a low kick from Bjj. Maka avoids the body shot from Bjj.
Maka misses with a takedown attempt - Bjj sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jimmy Bjj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haka Maka. A jab lands there for Bjj. Bjj misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maka.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Maka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bjj. Maka does a little dance to reset his feet. Maka fails to land with a series of punches.
Bjj throws a poor cross that misses
and Maka counters with a single leg into guard. Bjj didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bjj dives on top into guard. Bjj gets to his feet - Maka follows without any prompting. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maka clinches up with Bjj and pushes him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Haka Maka will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bjj clinches. Bjj pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bjj's corner calls for a 1-2. Bjj obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Bjj thuds a left hand into Maka's body. Maka closes the distance and clinches up with Bjj, looking for a takedown. Maka pushes Bjj against the cage but Bjj circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bjj throws a hook but Maka blocks it. Haka Maka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Maka fails to land the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Bjj as Maka shoots in. Jimmy Bjj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haka Maka. Maka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bjj moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bjj manages to break the clinch.
Bjj scores with a jab to the head.
Bjj tries to clinch but Maka is having none of it. Maka defending well as Bjj loads up on a big left hand. Maka on the wrong end of a nice jab. Maka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bjj connects with an inside leg kick. Maka fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Maka misses with a wild combination.
Jimmy Bjj is winning the standup battle so far. Maka doesn't manage to clinch there - Bjj circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bjj closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Maka did well to prevent Bjj getting side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Maka is trying to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Bjj seems content to control. Bjj trying to control from Maka's half guard. Maka has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bjj looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bjj slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jimmy Bjj has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bjj cracks Maka with an open hand slap. Bjj stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bjj wants it to stay on the feet. Bjj moves into the clinch successfully.
Bjj lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bjj has Maka pressed against the cage, preventing Maka from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bjj breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maka fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bjj lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Maka is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maka drops his hands momentarily. Bjj doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Maka staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Maka doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
