Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that James Wong has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Wong seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Daley! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong throws a right and a left that Daley avoids nicely. Daley connects with a solid leg kick. Wong scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Daley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wong finds it's way round the side to connect with Daley's head. A big left from Daley misses. Paul Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daley tries a head kick but it misses.
Wong pushes Daley away with a front kick. Wong slips a jab and a cross from Daley.
Wong throws a series of punches but Daley avoids them all with ease. Daley throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. A clash of legs there as Wong blocks the low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daley throws a leg kick which misses Wong's front leg but catches the back leg as Wong tries to avoid it. Wong rushes Daley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Daley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wong wants to break the clinch but can't.

Daley should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Daley misses with a straight left. A head kick misses from Daley. Wong misses with a takedown attempt - Daley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Daley missing with a left hand there. Wong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Daley. Daley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Daley throws a head kick that misses. Daley feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wong's calf. Daley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wong checks a low kick from Daley. Daley misses with a wild combination.
Wong scores with a jab to the jaw. The fight stays on the outside here - Wong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Wong counters with a stiff right hand. Daley throws and low kick but Wong moves out of range easily. Wong misses with a few strikes there.
Daley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paul Daley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Daley throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

and Wong counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Daley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wong scores to the head and body with a nice combination! James Wong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Daley stuffs the takedown attempt from Wong. Wong gets slowly back to his feet. A head kick by Daley misses and Wong counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wong. Daley misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wong.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wong lands a slapping body shot.
Daley throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wong scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Paul Daley seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wong attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Daley throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wong counters with a two punch combo. Wong has a takedown stuffed. Wong takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Daley throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Daley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wong's sensitive parts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Daley. Wong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Daley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wong has him pressed against the cage. Daley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Daley is looking to break free of the clinch but Wong has double underhooks. Daley looking to slow down the pace here. Wong jumps guard and drags Daley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daley manages to get himself to full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wong forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Daley throws a lazy head kick and Wong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Daley won't be happy with that. Daley wants to get back to his feet but Wong drags him back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong stands up and we're back to a striking position. Daley throws a nice head kick!
Daley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wong looks to land a combination but Daley avoids it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daley is looking to score with low kicks. Daley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wong explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Wong dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daley misses with a low kick as Wong jumps back. Wong is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Wong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daley is looking to land body kicks. Wong shoots for a takedown but Daley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Wong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Daley misses with a knee strike.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daley looking to throw knees to the head but Wong is blocking nicely.
Wong is trying to break free. Daley is trying to maintain a safe position but Wong gets an underhook and turns Daley into the cage. Daley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wong on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

and Wong counters by moving into the clinch. Wong avoiding damage as Daley throws knees to the body.

Wong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Daley is looking to slow Wong down with leg kicks. Wong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wong shoots in and bounces Daley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong stands and steps away. Daley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Daley throws a head kick but Wong moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Daley throws a head kick that misses. Daley misses with a double jab
and Wong counters with a three punch combo that has Daley backing up. Daley nods at Wong to acknowledge the strikes. Daley dodges the punch combination from Wong.
A head kick by Daley misses and Wong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Daley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Daley wants to slow Wong down by chopping away at his legs. Daley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

And that's the end of the fight! James Wong showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wong has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
