Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Der Ley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Penzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mario Penzer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Der Ley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Penzer!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penzer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Der Leys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A head kick misses from Der Ley.
Der Ley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Penzer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Der Ley!
Penzer has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Penzer postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Der Ley sneaks back into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Penzer lands a nice short elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Penzer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Der Ley's head.
Der Ley is looking to improve his position.
Penzer slips a nice elbow through Der Ley's hands, connecting with Der Ley's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Penzer is nestled in close to Der Ley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Penzer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Penzer passes to full mount!
Penzer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penzer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Der Ley is rocked!
Penzer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Der Ley is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Der Ley and Penzer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Penzer tries to move to full mount but Der Ley actually manages to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Penzer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Penzer winds up and cracks Der Ley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Penzer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Penzer lands with a punch from half guard.
Der Ley is trying to maintain the position but Penzer is very close to passing his half guard.
Penzer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Penzer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Der Ley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Der Ley tries to get out of the position.
Penzer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Der Ley can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Der Ley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Der Ley tries to hold on but Penzer pushes him away.
Der Ley seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Penzer with the ground and pound from mount.
A big strike lands for Penzer! That's really hurt Der Ley and he's turned his back - Penzer keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Penzer jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Penzer!
After winning the bout, Mario Penzer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
