Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akisame Hikaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Burns might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fedor Entrance Song . Hikaru comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ultimate Battle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Akisame Hikaru has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hikaru works Burns's body with a nice hook.
Burns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Burns misses with a straight right.
Burns gets tackled into the cage by Hikaru. Hikaru maintains the clinch.
Burns jumps guard but Hikaru turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Burns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hikaru doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hikaru manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hikaru has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hikaru bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burns's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burns is on top in guard.

Hikaru is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Burns has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Burns tries to move to mount but Hikaru blocks the move with his legs.
Burns wants to control but Hikaru is keeping him busy.
Burns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Burns jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hikaru walks away with a smile on his face. Burns gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Akisame Hikaru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hikaru avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hikaru.
Burns is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Hikaru tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hikaru manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Akisame Hikaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hikaru throws a right and a left that Burns avoids nicely.

Burns tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hikaru smiles and moves away.

and Burns counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hikaru. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Akisame Hikaru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Burns takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Burns is in close to Hikaru's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hikaru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burns gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hikaru swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Burns wants to control from the top but Hikaru keeps moving.
Akisame Hikaru is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Hikaru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burns gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Burns controls from within his opponent's guard.
Burns sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hikaru's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hikaru has hold of Burns's hands but Burns slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I would just about give that final round to Akisame Hikaru.
I've got Hikaru winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
