Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Putting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paddy Putting has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaxon Marcus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paddy Putting!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcus throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Putting throws a right and a left that Marcus avoids nicely.
Putting throws a right hand that misses
and Marcus counters with a three punch combo that has Putting backing up. Putting nods at Marcus to acknowledge the strikes.
Putting rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marcus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marcus lands a really nice looking cross but Putting seems unphased.
Marcus slips a jab and a cross from Putting.
Putting misses with a few strikes there.
Putting takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Marcus shoots in but no luck this time.
Marcus shoots in looking for a takedown. Putting tries to sprawl out of it but Marcus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Putting manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marcus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Putting tries to avoid it but Marcus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Putting to the ground. Putting escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Putting throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Marcus counters with a one-two to the body.

Marcus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Putting connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marcus scrambles back to his feet.
Putting lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marcus circles away quickly and effectively.

No joy there for Putting, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Paddy Putting will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Marcus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Putting looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

I would just about give that final round to Paddy Putting.
