The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hershey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've been hearing reports that Sauna has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sauna looks to land a right hand but Hershey moved out of range.
Sauna lands with a cross.

Sauna looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hershey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sauna. That did some damage!

Hershey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sauna.

Sauna is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hershey is just riding it out for now. Sauna eventually gives up the hold.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hershey tries to roll over but Sauna keeps him under control.

Hershey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sauna is looking to improve his position.
Hershey is stalling here. Sauna is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hershey seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sauna has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Sauna cracks Hershey with a big elbow.
Sauna lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sauna in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sauna swings around for an armbar but Hershey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sauna's guard.

Hershey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sauna lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hershey is rocked!
Sauna cracks Hershey with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hershey is still on wobbly legs! Can Sauna finish him?
Hershey misses with an uppercut
and Sauna counters with a takedown into side control.
Sauna landing a few strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sauna connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hershey some visible discomfort.
Sauna crunches a massive hammerfist down on Hershey - he's out! Sauna Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
