Leepen comes into the arena with The Prodigy - blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Krisu Leepen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fu Blue!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Leepen.
Leepen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Blue pushes Leepen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Leepen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Leepen scoring with punches from side control.
Leepen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The strikes coming from Leepen are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Leepen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Leepen is looking to take a break and control but Blue is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Leepen throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Leepen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Blue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leepen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Leepen wants to control but Blue is keeping him busy.
Leepen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Blue is rocked!
Leepen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Blue is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Blue is still in real trouble! Can Leepen finish him?
Leepen is putting a hurting on Blue here, landing some big shots from side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blue can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Leepen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leepen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ground and pound from Leepen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Blue seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blue is working to avoid the ground and pound but Leepen connects with a decent elbow.

Leepen misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Leepen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Blue some visible discomfort.
Leepen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Leepen in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Blue looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Leepen turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krisu Leepen!
During a confident post fight interview, Krisu Leepen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
