Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Trickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong comes into the arena with Say it Ain't So blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Edward Furlong has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edward Furlong seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Furlong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dick Trickle! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trickle is looking to land body kicks. Trickle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Furlong swats away the attempt to clinch by Trickle. Furlong misses with the combination.
Trickle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Furlong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Furlong scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Trickle is trying to maintain the position but Furlong is very close to passing his half guard. Furlong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Trickle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Furlong is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trickle is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Furlong has latched onto it... Big trouble! Furlong pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Trickle is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Furlong!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Edward Furlong! An out of breath Edward Furlong thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
