Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Bertane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fincent LeBlond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bertane comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Above The Law. LeBlond has chosen Kari Tapio - Olen Suomalainen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fincent LeBlond has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

enabling LeBlond to counter with a crisp jab.
LeBlond displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bertane.
LeBlond throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
LeBlond fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bertane manages to avoid it.

Bertane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but LeBlond defends well and Bertane ends up having to push LeBlond into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bertane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. LeBlond sprawls well initially but Bertane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bertane drops back looking for a leg! LeBlond is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LeBlond manages to kick Bertane off! Bertane jumps back into LeBlond's guard.
LeBlond is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

LeBlond looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Earl Bertane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bertane is positioning himself well to prevent LeBlond advancing to mount.

LeBlond got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bertane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, LeBlond has managed to get both his arms back between Bertane's legs - danger averted.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bertane connects with a nice short shot to LeBlond's temple.

Fincent LeBlond's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
