Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. Marshall has chosen I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton as his entrance music. Reggie Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Reggie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Riley Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall is looking to clinch.
Marshall moves out of range of the leg kick from Anderson.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Anderson.
Marshall misses with a wild body shot.
Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marshall throws an overhand right that lands on Anderson's shoulder, as Anderson tries to avoid the shot.
Marshall misses with a double jab.
Marshall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Marshall throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily.
Anderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anderson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Marshall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anderson scrambles back to his feet.
Anderson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marshall eats them both and turns towards Anderson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Marshall takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marshall scores with a sloppy right hand. Anderson should have avoided that one.
Marshall takes a swing at Anderson's ribcage but misses.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marshall throws a right and a left that both miss.
A big right from Marshall misses.

Anderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Anderson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Anderson.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Marshall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Marshall told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Marshall is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anderson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anderson's back!

Reggie Anderson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Marshall throws a lazy uppercut

and Anderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Anderson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Anderson grinds an elbow into Marshall's temple.
Anderson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Anderson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Anderson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Marshall is looking to reverse the position.
Marshall is not content to let Anderson control the position.
Marshall tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position.

Marshall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Anderson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Marshall sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Marshall is looking to regain half guard here but Anderson keeps moving and retains side control.
Marshall is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anderson connects with a decent elbow.

Anderson looks up at the clock and then as Marshall takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Anderson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Reggie Anderson.

Marshall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Anderson.

Anderson scoring well with a low kick there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reggie Anderson is winning the standup battle so far.
Anderson seems to be stalking Marshall here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Marshall drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Reggie Anderson!
