Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Samael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Herst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samael's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Warrior. Herst is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mr Crowley. Damian Herst has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Herst fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Samael sprawls well initially but Herst persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nice strikes from Herst there.
Herst thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Samael's head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Herst lands a nice short elbow.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Herst working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Samael is trying to get back to full guard.
Herst takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been hearing good reports from Samael's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Herst is in close to Samael's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Samael is rocked!
Herst gets to his feet and stands over Samael, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Samael felt that one! Herst unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Samael from any more punishment!
