Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Worsely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God - Descending. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Mark Worsely!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

George fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Worsely to the ground. George is now in Worsely's guard.

George avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
George wants to control from the top but Worsely keeps moving.
George trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Worsely wants to sweep here but George controlling him for the moment.

Worsely is looking for a triangle but George pushes his legs off easily.
George looking to pass the guard.
Worsely manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. George manages to get himself to full guard.
George has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Worsely stopping the sweep attempt from George.

George has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Worsely can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Worsely tries to free his leg and advance position but George is retaining full guard.
Worsely in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

George escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Worsely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Worsely wants to pass the guard but George is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

George looking for a sweep. Not yet George, not yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Worsely throws a big elbow that misses.
Worsely trying to control but George is working from the bottom.
George keeping full guard, as Worsely tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Worsely wants to control from the top but George keeps moving.
Worsely is fighting to break George's control of his arms but George is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Mark Worsely has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
George displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

George is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Worsely's half guard.
Worsely is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of George's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take George's back!

Worsely connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for George to escape the position.

George passes easily into side control. Nice work.

George tries for a kimura but Worsely is defending well.
Worsely is looking for a sweep.
Worsely holds on to George's head and controls the position momentarily.

George in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Worsely is trying to improve his position.
George trying to control the action but Worsely is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Worsely tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but George wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Furious George dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Worsely misses with a low kick as George jumps back.
George throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Worsely, as that shot connected.
George keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
George just misses with a punch to the body.
Worsely swings for the body but George moves out of range.

Furious George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Worsely throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
George pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Worsely back to the cage. George follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
George throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Worsely throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Worsely shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Worsely is nestled in close to George, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
George slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

George is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Worsely engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Worsely passes into half guard.

George is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Worsely pulls his head out easily.
Worsely missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

George has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Worsely escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Worsely!
Worsely is looking to take a break and control but George is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Worsely misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

George gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
George is looking to improve his position.
George is doing well to control the position and prevent Worsely from advancing to side control.
Worsely working George over with strikes.

Worsely seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are battling for position here. George manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

George is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Worsely is aware though and is defending well.
George is trying to control the position but Worsely postures up.
Worsely postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

George has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Worsely doesn't defend quickly enough and George has managed to lock this one up! Can Worsely escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to George on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Furious George!
During a confident post fight interview, Furious George thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
