Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyon Okiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lyon Okiro will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Okiro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!

We've been hearing good reports from Okiro's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hitmon Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Lee looks to land a left hand but Okiro moved out of range nicely.
Okiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Okiro pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hitmon Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lee crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Okiro - the referee stops the clock and Lee gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Okiro. Lee manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Lyon Okiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hitmon Lee.

Okiro is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Hitmon Lee.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
