Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Hobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Wagner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobson tries to clinch but Wagner moves out of range.
Hobson tries to clinch up but Wagner circles away and keeps his distance.
Wagner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wagner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wagner throws a leg kick which misses Hobson's front leg but catches the back leg as Hobson tries to avoid it.
Hobson moves in looking to clinch but Wagner pushes him off.

Hobson shoots for a takedown but Wagner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hobson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wagner to score with a decent uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hobson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wagner. That one must have hurt.
Hobson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wagner takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Wagner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hobson wants to control the pace but Wagner is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hobson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wagner has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Hobson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wagner can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hobson has control of Wagner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wagner regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hobson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wagner tries to avoid it but Hobson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wagner to the ground. Wagner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wagner leaves Hobson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Wagner sizes up Hobson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hobson will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Hobson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hobson is looking to clinch but Wagner is avoiding it.

Hobson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wagner tries to sprawl out of it but Hobson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wagner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wagner tries to roll over but Hobson keeps him under control.

A close second round but Ryan Wagner will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Hobson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wagner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hobson goes for a double leg but Wagner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wagner continues to drive forward.

Wagner jabs Hobson right on the nose. Hobson blinks but takes it well.
Wagner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hobson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Crunch! Wagner slams his shin into Hobson's torso.
Wagner scores with a shot to the body.
Wagner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hobson.
Wagner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wagner lands with a straight right. Hobson didn't see that one coming.
Oh Hobson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
