Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archie Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bell comes to the cage accompanied by Supersoaker. The crowd seem to be enjoying Reed's choice of entrance music: Jean Baptiste Lully - Marche Royale. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oliver Reed!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell cracks Reed with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


It looks like Oliver Reed has been cut.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reed manages to avoid it.
Reed keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bell.

Archie Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bell sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Bell is trying to break the clinch but Reed is controlling him.
Reed tries to throw a body punch but Bell avoids it by throwing Reed back against the cage.
Bell prevents a body shot from Reed.

Bell gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Bell postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Reed is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bell, into his guard.

Bell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bell has a closed guard, preventing Reed from standing up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


That has opened up Oliver Reed's cut even more.

Reed breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reed swings for the body but Bell moves out of range.
Reed avoids the body shot from Bell.

Bell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reed was well out of range. Poor timing from Bell.
Reed throws the kick towards the body but Bell avoids it.
Bell takes a swing at Reed's ribcage but misses.
Bell misses with a straight left.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bell is trying to break the clinch but Reed has him pressed against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Reed.
Reed works on Bell's body with a couple of short punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Reed pushes Bell back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Reed lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bell or not.

Reed lands a hook that snaps the head of Bell backwards.
Bell wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Reed lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bell is looking to break free of the clinch but Reed has double underhooks.
Bell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reed walks away with a smile on his face. Bell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Archie Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oliver Reed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Reed.
Reed keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Bell is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Reed turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bell misses with an uppercut
and Reed connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh Bell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bell gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Reed gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Reed!
Oliver Reed took some time post fight to say the following; 'It feels good to be home - at the palace - not at this dirty and rat infested sweat box. You're all inferior. Pawns in my little game. Sod off.'.
