The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers fails with the takedown
and Fertus counters with a low kick, right behind Chambers 's knee.
A jab lands there for Chambers.
Chambers with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fertus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fertus throws a sloppy head kick and Chambers moves out of range easily.
A clash of legs there as Chambers blocks the low kick.

and Fertus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mike Fertus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jovon Chambers.

Chambers is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fertus is trying to escape and Chambers transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fertus is forced to tap! Nice work there by Chambers! Very nice indeed!
