Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Apollo Anderson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dwight Moody! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Apollo Anderson! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson misses with a leg kick and Moody counters with a body kick. Anderson misses with a hook. Moody ducked under it nicely. Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Anderson throws a looping overhand right but Moody ducks down to avoid it. Moody misses with a low kick.
Anderson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Anderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moody. Moody fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it. Moody lands a nice shot to the body.
Anderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Anderson lands a nice hook to Moody's body. Moody takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Moody keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderson. Moody scores with a kick to the midsection. Anderson darts in looking for a takedown but Moody gets double underhooks and turns Anderson into the cage. Moody stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moody lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Anderson prevents Moody from breaking the clinch. Moody pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Moody throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moody staying out of range there. Moody moves out of range of the strikes. Moody lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Moody tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Anderson is able to avoid easily. Anderson scores with a jab to the jaw. Anderson connects with a right hand. Moody shakes it off. Anderson walks into a jab. Dwight Moody is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Moody defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson. Moody attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Anderson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Moody stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moody wants it to stay on the feet. Dwight Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Apollo Anderson. Moody swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Anderson. Anderson motions for Moody to come forward. Anderson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Moody scores with a jab to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anderson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Moody. Moody chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moody connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anderson. Anderson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Anderson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Moody keeps the fight on the outside. Anderson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Moody buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Anderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Moody. Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A slow jab from Moody misses its intended target. Moody keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Moody connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anderson. Anderson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Anderson connects with a body shot that sends Moody's belly button to the back. Moody connects with a body shot. Anderson walks into a stiff left hand from Moody. Moody has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moody leaning his opponent against the cage. Moody lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Anderson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Moody is trying to force a seperation but Anderson has the dominant position. Anderson struggles to land a body shot inside as Moody controls his hands.
Moody is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Moody's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Anderson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Moody to score with a decent uppercut. Moody throws a powerful right kick. Anderson tried to block low but the kick was high! Anderson was taken right off of his feet! Moody jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dwight Moody! Dwight Moody thanked the fans post fight for their support. Apollo Anderson was interviewed post fight and said 'Um what can I say it is what it is congratulations to him, he was better tonight. But one things for sure ill be back.'.
