Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Bentley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Ewing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terrell Bentley! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bentley shoots in looking for a takedown but Ewing manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bentley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ewing looks to land a combination but Bentley avoids it well. Bentley shoots in looking for a takedown. Ewing tries to sprawl out of it but Bentley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ewing manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bentley has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bentley is defended easily by Ewing. Pat Ewing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrell Bentley. Ewing missing with a left hand there. Bentley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bentley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ewing finds it's way round the side to connect with Bentley's head. We've been told by Ewing's head coaches at ELITE GYM 47 CAP that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Ewing is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bentley. Ewing tries a head kick but it misses.
Bentley throws a right and a left that both miss. Ewing connects with a looping right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bentley on the wrong end of a nice hook. Nice sprawl there from Ewing as Bentley shoots in. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bentley. Bentley works Ewing's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bentley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ewing as he jumps to the side. Ewing throws a right and a left that both miss. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ewing is defended easily by Bentley. Ewing tests Bentley's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bentley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ewing as he jumps to the side. Bentley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A slow jab from Ewing misses its intended target. Ewing displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bentley. Ewing connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bentley momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bentley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ewing as he jumps to the side. Ewing leaves Bentley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bentley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ewing is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bentley off and has taken his back! Bentley looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Bentley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ewing gets his way!
Ewing keeps control of the position as Bentley tries to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ewing is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ewing lands strikes to the head. Ewing is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bentley has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Ewing working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Ewing working for a choke but Bentley is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ewing is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bentley just trying to survive but Ewing is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bentley tries to clinch up but Ewing circles away and keeps his distance. Bentley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ewing throws out the jab. Bentley avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ewing avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ewing stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ewing wants it to stay on the feet. Bentley thows a left - swing and a miss! Ewing throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bentley counters by clinching up. Bentley has Ewing pressed against the cage, preventing Ewing from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bentley blocks an uppercut.
Ewing pushes off an throws an elbow but Bentley leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Bentley breaks the clinch.
Bentley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bentley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ewing defends well and Bentley ends up having to push Ewing into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ewing stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Bentley blocking some punches.
This has been an exciting period of action! Ewing wants to break free but Bentley has control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewing lands a hook that snaps the head of Bentley backwards. Ewing misses with a knee strike.
Ewing blocks a body shot from Bentley. Ewing struggles to land a body shot inside as Bentley controls his hands.
Ewing lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Ewing wants to take the fight to the mat but Bentley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ewing swings wildly with an uppercut but Bentley uses good head movement to avoid it. Ewing breaks the clinch.
Ewing tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ewing throws a right and a left that both miss. Ewing keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bentley closes the distance and clinches up with Ewing, looking for a takedown. Bentley pushes Ewing against the cage but Ewing circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ewing steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bentley. Bentley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ewing is fending him off so far but Bentley persists. Nope, Ewing circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Ewing as Bentley shoots in. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ewing thows a body shot but no joy. Nice body punch from Ewing. Bentley is breathing heavily. Bentley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ewing smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Ewing. That snapped Bentley's head back.
Ewing gets caught flat footed, as Bentley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bentley content to stall in guard here. Ewing has Bentley pulled in close to control his posture. Bentley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ewing is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ewing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ewing wants to control from the top but Bentley keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ewing stands and throws Bentley's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ewing tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ewing has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ewing goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bentley has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ewing but great work by Bentley. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bentley stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bentley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Ewing dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bentley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Ewing's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Bentley politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bentley prefers to stall for the moment though. Ewing tries to bench press Bentley off him but Bentley keeps the position. Bentley cracks Ewing with a big right hand but Ewing just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ewing tries to improve position but can't. Bentley taking a breather here. A control attempt from Ewing but he's now mounted!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewing is trying desperately to improve position. Bentley tries to control but Ewing wriggling away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bentley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ewing is looking to improve his position but Bentley isn't that keen on the idea. Bentley content just to control the position here. Ewing is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bentley looking to control and managing it successfully. Bentley with the ground and pound from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ewing tries to hold on but Bentley postures up. Ewing tries to reverse the position but Bentley maintains control. Pat Ewing overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ewing is working hard here to advance position. Bentley controlling his opponent. Ewing tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bentley controlling the pace for now. Bentley unloading with bombs! Bentley controlling the position easily from mount. Ewing slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ewing trying to hold on to Bentley's head to control him but Bentley postures up.
Ewing is in trouble now - Bentley has advanced to mount! Bentley sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bentley looking to control but Ewing is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Terrell Bentley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ewing tries to hold on but Bentley pushes him away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bentley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ewing is in all sorts of trouble here.
Pat Ewing is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ewing slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Bentley is looking for a kimura here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bentley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ewing defending well though.
And that's the end of the fight! Terrell Bentley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ewing has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
