Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Gallows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallows comes into the arena with Vesta blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallows throws a right and a left that Gene avoids nicely.
Gene lands with a shot to the body.
Gene looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gallows is fending him off so far but Gene persists. Nope, Gallows circles away and we're back to standing.
Gallows keeps the fight on the outside.
Gallows looks to land a right hand but Gene moved out of range.

Gene throws an elbow that misses. Gallows uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gene's guard. Nice move by Gallows!
Gallows stands up and waves to Gene to follow him.

Gene throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Levi Gene dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gene throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gene has a takedown stuffed.
Gallows with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gene to score with a decent uppercut.
Gene misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gallows turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gallows rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gene moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gene throws a right hand that Gallows ducks under and follows up with a left that Gallows also avoids with ease.

Gallows lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A slapping body kick lands there for Gallows.
Gene takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gallows connects with a solid leg kick.
Gallows fails to land with a series of punches.
Gene tries for a takedown but Gallows sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dutch Gallows has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Levi Gene.
Gallows connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Gallows throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Gallows throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Gallows cracks Gene with a left hook right on the temple and Gene goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Gallows lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Gene is OK!
