Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Helix Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diogo Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Cabrera is looking to break free of the clinch but Braga has double underhooks.
Cabrera is pushing Braga up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Helix Cabrera.

Cabrera has Braga pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Braga manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Braga jumps guard but Cabrera turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Braga is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cabrera can't fight it off and eventually Braga manages to take the fight to the floor. Cabrera looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cabrera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Braga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cabrera wants to improve his position but Braga is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Braga wants to control but Cabrera is keeping him busy.
Braga is taking a breather. Cabrera says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cabrera is in all sorts of trouble here.
Braga is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cabrera to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cabrera shrugs it off.

Braga sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Braga wants to finish this one by submission but Cabrera is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Braga.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cabrera is desperately trying to improve his position but Braga has a good base and remains in mount.

A close round but Diogo Braga will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Braga fails with the takedown.

Cabrera has closed the distance and engaged Braga in a clinch.
Cabrera turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cabrera manages to end up in side control.
Braga is trying to control Cabrera's posture but Cabrera avoids it.
Cabrera is looking to take a break and control but Braga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Braga sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Cabrera is stalling here. Braga is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cabrera seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Braga has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Braga is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Cabrera has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Braga sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Cabrera taps out!
