Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bataka throws a sloppy head kick
and Little counters with a head kick.
Little forces Bataka back against the cage and clinches.
Little has Bataka pressed against the cage, preventing Bataka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Little successfully pulls guard.
Little is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Little utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Little is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bataka is controlling him.
Little working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bataka.
Bataka throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bataka stands up from Little's guard - Bataka perhaps looking for a knockout.

It looks like Virgil Little has been cut.
Little shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bataka is trying to defend but Little finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bataka decides to stand up, so the ref orders Little to his feet.
Bataka shoots for a double leg takedown but Little sprawls well. He's pushed Bataka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Little feints and as Bataka raises his hands in defense, Little changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bataka wants to improve his position but instead Little has moved into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Little is trying to control the action in half guard but Bataka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Virgil Little will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bataka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Little manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bataka tries to clinch but Little is having none of it.
Little closes the distance and clinches.
Little has picked Bataka up - he's going for a ride! Little dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Obobo Bataka has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bataka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bataka throws a series of punches but Little avoids them all with ease.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Little's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bataka throws a series of strikes that have Little backpedaling.

Little drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Little wants to take a breather but Bataka manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Little.

Bataka looking to hit a scissor sweep but Little is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bataka holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Little trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Little wants to control from the top but Bataka keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Virgil Little just wasn't active enough.
No luck for Bataka with that takedown attempt.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bataka manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Bataka wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Little has him pressed against the cage.
Bataka is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Little shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Little showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Little seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bataka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Virgil Little overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Virgil Little.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Little, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
