Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overroid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beno Gruffo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alistair Overroid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beno Gruffo! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overroid misses with a double jab.
Gruffo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Overroid lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Beno Gruffo has been cut. Gruffo misses with a head kick.
Overroid blocks a head kick by Gruffo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Overroid is defended easily by Gruffo. Overroid shoots in for a double leg but Gruffo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Overroid fails to land with a series of punches.
Gruffo throws a nice outside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head kick misses from Overroid. Gruffo throws a head kick but Overroid moves out of range.
Overroid looks to land a left hand but Gruffo moved out of range nicely. Gruffo digs a good hook to Overroid's body.
Overroid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Overroid lands in his opponent's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Overroid not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gruffo holds on and takes a little breather. Overroid trying to control the position from guard on top but Gruffo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Overroid wants to pass the guard but Gruffo is keeping the position. Overroid wants to control from the top but Gruffo keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alistair Overroid. Overroid tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gruffo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Overroid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gruffo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Overroid shoots in for a double leg but Gruffo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alistair Overroid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Gruffo. Overroid tries to clinch but Gruffo moves out of range. Overroid avoids the head kick by Gruffo.
Gruffo lands a leg kick that knocks Overroid off balance momentarily. Overroid is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Gruffo. Overroid dives in and grabs Gruffo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gruffo pushes down on Overroid's head and hops out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gruffo scores with a nice right hand.
Beno Gruffo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Overroid has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gruffo. Overroid takes a shot right to the bread basket. Gruffo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gruffo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Alistair Overroid's cut is getting worse. Gruffo moves into the clinch. Gruffo breaks from the clinch.
Alistair Overroid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That kick from Gruffo tenderised Overroid's leg. Overroid is trying to keep his angry face on. Overroid takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Gruffo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Gruffo lands an overhand right. Gruffo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Overroid's head. A decent looking body kick lands there for Gruffo. Gruffo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Overroid moves forwards but Gruffo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alistair Overroid's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Gruffo lands with a shot to the body. Overroid tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gruffo tries a head kick but it misses.
Gruffo throws a head kick that misses. Overroid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gruffo was well out of range. Poor timing from Overroid. Overroid takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gruffo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Gruffo cracks Overroid with a right hand to the side of the head. Gruffo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Overroid on the side of the head.
Jeez, Alistair Overroid's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The fighters circle momentarily. Gruffo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Overroid is rocked! Gruffo and Overroid are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Gruffo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Overroid into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Gruffo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Beno Gruffo! Beno Gruffo very nearly forgot to thank Black Hand Alliance Only Laundry Service amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
