Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by Mama said knock you out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyson Pearson! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bishop defends well and Pearson ends up having to push Bishop into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pearson takes a shot to the head. Bishop misses with a hook from the clinch. Pearson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bishop avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Pearson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bishop comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Bishop has a couple of punches blocked by Pearson.

Bishop stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Pearson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A short right from Bishop on the inside. Bishop tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bishop tries to throw a body punch but Pearson avoids it by throwing Bishop back against the cage. Bishop throws a head punch that misses. A short right hand to the side of the head by Bishop.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pearson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pearson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bishop manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pearson has Bishop in his guard. Pearson working for submissions but it's allowed Bishop to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pearson is looking to get back to full guard here but Bishop has managed to pass to side control instead. Pearson is looking to reverse the position. Pearson tries to control but Bishop manages to take his back.

Bishop just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A swing and a miss from Bishop. Bishop scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Pearson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pearson passes Bishop's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Pearson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pearson works his foot free and advances to mount. Pearson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bishop is now in Pearson's guard. A big mistake from Pearson there, giving up the dominant position! Bishop's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pearson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bishop has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pearson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pearson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bishop is fending him off so far but Pearson persists. Nope, Bishop circles away and we're back to standing. Bishop throws a hook to the side of Pearson's head but Pearson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bishop instigates a clinch. Bishop softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Bishop misses with a body punch.

Nice straight punches there by Bishop. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bishop. Pearson shoots in but no luck this time. Bishop misses the shot to the body. Pearson tries for a takedown but Bishop circles away easily and Bishop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bishop misses with a punch to the body.

Bishop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pearson forces his way into half guard. Tyson Pearson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pearson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bishop sees it coming and defends easily. Bishop is defending against the submission attempts here by Pearson.
Pearson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
