The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creel looks to throw the jab but Oath is out of range.
Creel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Creel attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Oath checks the leg kick.
Creel's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oath under the eye.
It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Creel throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Oath avoids a kick to the body.
Creel misses with a body kick.
Oath blocks a head kick by Creel.
Creel looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Creel lands a big head kick that sends Oath tumbling to the mat! Creel takes a step backwards and waves Oath back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oath is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oath takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Oath is still on wobbly legs! Can Creel finish him?
Oath drops his hands for a split second and Creel immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Oath face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Creel follows up with a right hand that knocks Oath into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Carl Creel!
Carl Creel looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Haha, seriously? All that talk for that?'.
The defeated Ken Oath had this to say: 'I took a punt, a gamble and on this occassion the cards didn't fall my way. Congrats Lance and Carl this is nothing more than a slight bump on my path to being a legend of the fight world.'.
