PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walker Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Henn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker Davis had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Henn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Davis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Henn at a distance.

Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Henn circles away.
Henn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Davis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Henn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
