Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Tompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasa Rekic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rekic takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Tompson scores with the left hand. Rekic knows he should have avoided that one.

Tompson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rekic distracts Tompson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Tompson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rekic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rekic keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tompson's head.
Rekic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tompson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tompson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rekic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rekic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rekic arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Tompson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
