The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Shelton's head.
It looks like Carter Shelton has been cut.
Araya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Araya tried to score with a low kick but Shelton checks it.
Shelton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shelton lands in his opponent's guard.
