Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Bernados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joey Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Bernados! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries to clinch up but Bernados circles away and keeps his distance. Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bernados shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bernados blocks the elbow strike.
Bernados takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Ivan Bernados has been cut. Bernados takes an elbow to the forehead. Bernados tries a knee to the head but Johnson blocks it.

Johnson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Johnson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Johnson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Johnson lands an elbow inside. Johnson pushes off an throws an elbow but Bernados leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Johnson lands an elbow inside. Bernados blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bernados's coach down at Ivan's house of pain [200$] was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bernados's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Johnson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bernados is trying to break free. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Johnson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bernados's brow. Johnson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bernados.

Johnson tries to land knees in the clinch but Bernados avoids the damage to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That has opened up Ivan Bernados's cut even more. Bernados jumps guard.
Johnson throws a big elbow that misses. Johnson wants to control from the top but Bernados keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bernados wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment. Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson wants to control from the top but Bernados keeps moving. Johnson landing some decent shots from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bernados has wrist control. Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bernados kicks Johnson off and gets to his feet. Johnson avoids the body shot from Bernados.

Bernados manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bernados is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Johnson frees his head nicely. Oh but Bernados has switched to an armbar! Johnson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
