Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Hippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hippo throws the left hand but Sumrall avoids the punch easily.
Hippo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hippo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hippo scores with a jab. Sumrall acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Harold Sumrall has been cut.
Sumrall has managed to clinch.
Sumrall manages to break the clinch.
Sumrall slips a straight right by Hippo.
No joy there for Hippo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sumrall shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sumrall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hippo defends it well.

Sumrall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hippo just stands there and leans against the cage.
King Hippo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold Sumrall.
Sumrall throws a punch but it's blocked by Hippo.
Sumrall jumps guard but Hippo stands there with Sumrall around his waist. Sumrall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hippo wants to get back to striking at distance but Sumrall won't allow it.
Sumrall wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hippo has had enough of the clinch but Sumrall keeps him there for the moment.
Sumrall tries a body shot but Hippo blocks it.

Sumrall has Hippo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hippo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sumrall is trying to maintain a safe position but Hippo gets an underhook and turns Sumrall into the cage.

Hippo drops Sumrall with a right and a left! Hippo comes rushing in but Sumrall regains his composure and manages to keep Hippo in guard.

That has opened up Harold Sumrall's cut even more.
Hippo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hippo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
