Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenard Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenard Bender! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jared Allen! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Bender. Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Allen avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bender. You can see the frustration on Bender's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bender gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bender is trying to maintain the position but Allen is very close to passing his half guard. Bender manages to get to full guard.
Allen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bender is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Allen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bender really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Allen controlling from the top position. Bender throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Allen content to stall in guard here.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jared Allen wasn't active enough on the ground. Allen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bender sprawls well initially but Allen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Allen seems content to control. Bender gets back to full guard.
Bender trying to keep a closed guard but Allen is proving a slippery customer.
Bender can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Allen controls the pace. Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bender is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bender is working for a kimura but Allen is defending it quite comfortably.
Allen pushes Bender off looking to stand but Bender dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Allen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Allen controlling Bender's posture. Allen is trying to keep Bender in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Allen can do anything to dispel that myth. Bender is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control. Bender looking to pass the guard. Bender stopping the sweep attempt from Allen. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jared Allen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Allen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bender looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bender is looking to reverse the position. Allen trying to control the action but Bender is working from the bottom. Bender can't do much from the bottom here. Bender tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bender stops Allen from passing to mount. Allen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bender has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Allen but great work by Bender. Allen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bender's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bender wants to work for an arm triangle but Allen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bender wants to stand up but Allen has a hold of him and won't allow it. Allen is not content to let Bender control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bender tries to pass to full mount but Allen defends it. Allen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Allen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Bender works his way into full mount! Allen working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bender wants to control the pace but Allen is squirming around nicely. Allen gets back to half guard. Bender is taking a breather. Allen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Allen is controlling Bender's trapped leg to prevent Bender from advancing to side control. Bender wants to control but Allen is keeping him busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lenard Bender just wasn't active enough. Allen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Allen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bender to the mat! Bender manages to get full guard. Allen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Allen is breathing heavily. Bender is trying to keep Allen in close.
Jared Allen has got the better of the ground game so far. Bender keeping full guard, as Allen tries to pass. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bender controls Allen momentarily but Allen frees himself. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bender is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jared Allen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Bender looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Allen is fending him off so far but Bender persists. Nope, Allen circles away and we're back to standing. Bender shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allen defends it nicely. Allen throws a low kick but Bender avoids it. Allen checks a low kick from Bender. Bender fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenard Bender. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Allen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bender! Bender is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bender is being controlled here. Allen tries to stand but Bender is controlling his head. Allen controlling from side mount. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Bender tries to buck Allen off but Allen is having none of it. Allen is putting a hurting on Bender here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bender is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Allen's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Allen connects with a nice short shot to Bender's temple. Allen trying to control the pace. Bender trying to control but Allen postures up.
Bender has hold of Allen's hands but Allen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Allen performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen passes the guard and advances to mount! Allen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Allen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Allen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bender is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bender and Allen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bender wants to control but Allen postures up. Allen tries for a kimura but Bender is defending well. Bender is trying to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen staying calm.
And that's the end of the fight! Jared Allen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Allen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
