Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Binse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King has chosen Supreme court hymn as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Binse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Renato King!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a hook to the body

and Binse decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Binse fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and King has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

King connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Binse walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Binse looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Binse defends it easily.

Binse is just content to waste time from the top position. King takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Binse manages to get himself to full guard.

King is fighting to break Binse's control of his arms but Binse is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Binse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

King's coach down at Miletich Xtreme Fighting Systems was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on King's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Renato King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Binse counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Binse winds up and cracks King with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Binse landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

King has hold of Binse's hands but Binse slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

And that's the end of the fight!
Christopher Binse showed his dominance in that final round.
