Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blake Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Williams! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nashs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nash thows a leg kick but Williams checks it and Williams counters with an inside leg kick. Nash throws a leg kick and Williams counters with a body kick that stops Nash in his tracks momentarily. Nash chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.
Nash throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Nash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Nash. Nash connects with a looping right hand.
Williams misses with a body shot.

Nash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Williams, right into the meat.
A low kick from Nash misses and Williams makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nash really felt that one! Nash slips under a jab. Nash tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams swings for the body but Nash moves out of range.
Williams lands with a right hand. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Williams lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nash has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nash and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Nash's shoulder, as Nash tries to avoid the shot. Nash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Nash moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Nash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nash on the side of the head. Nash looks to land a body kick but Williams moved away. Nash misses with a low kick as Williams jumps back. Williams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Williams avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nice straight punches there by Nash. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nash. Nash wants to land a leg kick but Williams is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Williams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Williams avoids the head kick by Nash.
Nash misses with a low kick. Williams stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nash. Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Williams checks a leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Williams. Nash throws a right hand that misses
and Williams counters with a stiff right hand. Nash slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Nash tries to score with a low kick but Williams moves his leg out of the way. Nash on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nash has taken the fight to the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Nash as Williams tries to tie him up. A head punch on the inside from Williams fails to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Williams has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

It looks like Blake Nash has been cut. Williams throws a punch but it's blocked by Nash. Williams takes a knee right on the jaw!
The referee is keeping an eye on Nash - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
With the fighters up against the cage, Nash throws an elbow but misses. Williams scores with a nice hook to the head. Williams misses with a hook from the clinch. Williams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Nash is keeping busy. Nash creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Williams's defenses. Williams misses with a punch to the body.
Nash trying to stall but Williams improves his position.
Nash with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nash is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Williams is keeping busy. Williams cracks Nash with a nice body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams lands on the inside with an uppercut. Williams lands a right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short uppercut from Williams. Nash creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Williams works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nash blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams wants to clinch. Nash misses with a low kick. Williams catches Nash with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nash tries to work over Williams's front leg with a kick but Williams checks it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A low kick from Nash is predictable there and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
Nash is rocked! Nash rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Williams.
Williams avoids a wild elbow strike from Nash. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Williams dominated that round. The cut man is working on Blake Nash's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Williams scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nash in his tracks. Williams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nash's hands. Oh Nash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nash takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Williams lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nash will feel that in the morning. Williams wants to clinch up but Nash keeps it at a distance. Nash takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Nash seems to have got his legs back now. Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Nash circles away.
Williams pounces like a tiger and cracks Nash with a vicious hook! Nash is down but not out! Williams follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hector Williams!
