Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between RV Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Malapitan.
Penn throws a wild body kick that Malapitan sees coming a mile off.
Penn throws a series of punches but Malapitan avoids them all with ease.
Malapitan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Penn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Malapitan misses with a two punch combination.
Penn throws a right and a left that Malapitan avoids nicely.
Malapitan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Beast farming in the buildup to the fight.
Malapitan ducks right into an uppercut from Penn.
Penn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Malapitan misses with a two punch combination.
Penn blocks a jab.
Penn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Nathan Penn has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Penn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sloppy strikes from Penn. Those never looked like landing.
Penn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Penn misses with a low kick.
Malapitan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Penns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Malapitan drops Penn with a straight right hand, right on the button! Malapitan follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
