Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew John Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Vuorinen! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vuorinen moves into range and clinches up with Anderson. Anderson is looking for a takedown. Vuorinen is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Anderson tries for a takedown but Vuorinen manages to get underhooks.

Anderson just leaning against Vuorinen, taking a breather. Vuorinen is pressed up against the cage. Anderson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vuorinen down to the mat. Vuorinen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew John Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Vuorinen defending well as Anderson loads up on a big left hand. Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Vuorinen! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Anderson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vuorinen, who protects the arm well. A lull in the action here as Anderson stalls from top position. You can see the frustration on Vuorinen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vuorinen is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Vuorinen keeps trying to improve his position. Anderson tries for a kimura but Vuorinen is defending well. Vuorinen is looking for a sweep. Vuorinen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Anderson working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson trying to control the action but Vuorinen is working from the bottom. Vuorinen is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Anderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Vuorinen tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Vuorinen tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vuorinen wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Anderson has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Vuorinen's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Vuorinen is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Anderson!
