Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morten Joikhaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Georges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Morten Joikhaaja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Guy Georges! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joikhaaja shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Georges trying to control here.
Georges works his way to full guard. Good work. Joikhaaja is looking to work some ground and pound but Georges has wrist control. Joikhaaja trying to control but Georges is working from the bottom. Georges utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Joikhaaja in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Joikhaaja working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Joikhaaja throws an elbow that misses. Georges uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Joikhaaja's guard. Nice move by Georges! Georges showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like Georges might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Georges wants to control from the top but Joikhaaja keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joikhaaja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Georges stays in close to Joikhaaja's body and controls the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Guy Georges hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Joikhaaja fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Georges sprawls well initially but Joikhaaja persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Joikhaaja not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've been hearing that Joikhaaja has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Georges has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Joikhaaja. Oh but Georges has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Joikhaaja goes limp - he's gone! Georges jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
