Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Hurricane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Christopher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ares Hurricane! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hurricane misses with a body kick. Christopher wants to clinch. Christopher darts in looking for a takedown but Hurricane gets double underhooks and turns Christopher into the cage. Hurricane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Christopher avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Christopher.
It looks like Ares Hurricane has been cut. Come on Hurricane - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Christopher fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hurricane manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Christopher manages to pull guard.
Hurricane wants to pass the guard but Christopher is keeping the position. Hurricane is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Christopher has a closed guard, preventing Hurricane from standing up. Hurricane controlling from the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ares Hurricane was stalling too much, according to the referee. Christopher tries to clinch up but Hurricane circles away and keeps his distance. Ares Hurricane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christopher tries to clinch up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Christopher.
Hurricane clinches. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hurricane as Christopher tries to tie him up. Christopher throws a knee to the head but misses.
Christopher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hurricane gets the takedown into side control. Hurricane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hurricane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christopher tries to buck Hurricane off but Hurricane is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christopher trying to remain calm as Hurricane controls from the top position. Hurricane stands up and beckons Christopher to his feet. Christopher tries to clinch but Hurricane is having none of it. Hurricane fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Christopher checks it well. Christopher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hurricane sprawls well. Hurricane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Christopher gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Christopher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christopher is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Christopher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hurricane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurricane works Christopher's body with a nice hook. Hurricane clinches up with Christopher and pushes him back against the cage. Christopher taking a breather. Christopher lands a nice uppercut. Christopher pushes Hurricane back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Christopher misses with a hook from the clinch. Hurricane fails to pull guard.
Hurricane takes an elbow to the forehead. Christopher with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Christopher is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Christopher landing knees to the head.
Christopher misses with a hook from the clinch. Christopher prevents Hurricane from breaking the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ares Hurricane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ares Hurricane's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hurricane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Christopher napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hurricane advances to mount. Hurricane throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Christopher because Hurricane loaded up on that one. Christopher tries to hold on but Hurricane postures up. Hurricane is standing up, even though he is in mount. Christopher blocks a leg kick. Hurricane fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane clinches. Christopher with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hurricane tries to pull guard but Christopher holds him up against the cage and eventually Hurricane drops back down to his feet.
Christopher dodges an elbow strike from Hurricane.
Christopher pulls Hurricane into guard.
Hurricane's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hurricane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hurricane slips nicely into half guard. Hurricane sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Christopher defending well though. Hurricane content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hurricane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hurricane is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hurricane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hurricane throwing shots but Christopher is blocking nicely. Hurricane moves nicely into side control. Christopher is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hurricane has just dragged him back down to the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurricane stands up. Hurricane closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Christopher quickly recovers to half guard. Hurricane perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ares Hurricane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ares Hurricane's cut. That's time! Christopher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hurricane gets in close and instigates a clinch. Christopher lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hurricane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hurricane throws a head punch that misses. Christopher misses with a knee to the head. Hurricane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Christopher breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hurricane. Hurricane drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane in side control, just content to control the action for now. Hurricane stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christopher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hurricane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hurricane takes the fight into the clinch. Christopher tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Christopher misses with a knee strike.
Hurricane tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Christopher smiles and moves away.
Hurricane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Christopher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hurricane is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Hurricane. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Hurricane decides to stand back up. Hurricane steps back and let's Christopher get back to his feet. Hurricane avoids a kick to the body.
Christopher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hurricane swats him away and circles back towards the center. Christopher doesn't manage to clinch there - Hurricane circles away.
Hurricane looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurricane drops back looking for a leg! Christopher is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Christopher manages to kick Hurricane off! Hurricane jumps back into Christopher's guard. John Christopher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hurricane sitting in guard here, content to control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hurricane stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that's the end of the fight! Ares Hurricane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hurricane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
