Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Fed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lue Goose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Fed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lue Goose!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Fed misses the target.
Fed looks to throw the jab but Goose is out of range.
Goose uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fed.
Goose steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fed.
The fighters circling - Fed throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Goose has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Lue Goose has been cut.
Fed looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Goose shoots in and drives through. Fed sprawls well.
Fed listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Goose dives in for a single leg takedown but Fed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fed wants to stall.
Fed misses with a hook from the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fed scores with a knee to the head.
Fed lands a shot to the body.
Goose drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roman Fed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lue Goose.
Fed prevents the takedown attempt.

Goose managing to block the knees to the body from Fed.
Fed is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Goose's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Goose drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fed pulls his leg out and moves away.

Goose takes the fight into the clinch.
Fed prevents a takedown attempt there.
A shot in the inside from Fed.
Goose goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fed prevents it.
Goose is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Fed avoiding damage as Goose throws knees to the body.

Fed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Roman Fed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fed misses the shot to the body.
Fed throws a right hand that misses

and Goose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Goose.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goose not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fed keeping moving, preventing Goose from controlling successfully.
Fed has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Goose wants to pass the guard but Fed is keeping the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lue Goose hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A swing and a miss from Fed.

Goose changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fed looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fed is trying to get back to half guard.

Goose tries for a kimura but Fed is defending well.
Fed is looking to regain half guard here but Goose keeps moving and retains side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Goose working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fed is looking to regain half guard here but Goose keeps moving and retains side control.
Fed can't do much from the bottom here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Goose thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The strikes coming from Goose are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roman Fed will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Lue Goose's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goose was well out of range. Poor timing from Fed.
Goose is looking to clinch.
Goose showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fed.
Fed connects with a crisp jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fed. Goose does a little dance to reset his feet.
Goose walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fed scores with the left hand. Goose knows he should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goose shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fed defends it nicely.
Goose takes one to the side of the head.
Fed throws an off balance right hand

and Goose counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Goose drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fed dives on top into guard.
Fed stopping the sweep attempt from Goose.
Goose bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fed's guard.
Fed has Goose pulled in close to control his posture.
Fed keeping full guard, as Goose tries to pass.
Goose works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Goose is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fed sees it coming and defends easily.
Fed won't allow Goose to pass to mount.

Goose seems to be working for a kimura but Fed defends the submission attempt.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Goose working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Fed is not content to let Goose control the position.

Goose is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fed is looking to control Goose's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fed avoid being mounted?

Goose maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fed could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Goose has cracked it and Fed is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Goose!
